What clothing should I wear for my photo?
We recommend that you avoid patterns, solid white clothing or any apparel from other universities.
Can I use this photo for other purposes?
Yes, the photos are specifically scaled for flyers, journal articles and for the user's icon on Microsoft 365.
Can you take pictures at our meeting?
No, photos must be taken in the Lakeside building.
Can I have all the photos from the shoot?
No, each person receives one processed photo from the shoot. Our photographer will review each photo taken with you at the photoshoot and allow you to choose your favorite image. If you don't like the final processed photo, you are welcome to book another appointment.
How often should I get a new headshot?
It's recommended to get a new headshot every four to five years.
Can I change the pose of the headshot?
No, the pose of the photo is set specifically to match other portraits taken at the University.
Why don't I see any open appointments for a photo?
Currently, many departments at UConn have redesigned their websites and we are experiencing an increased demand for photos. Please check back at a later date.
