As editors in the wordpress system for UConn, you are likely aware of the perpetual change and evolution involved in website design and maintenance. It is imperative that as a top research institution, we are continually working to stay at the forefront of all of the work we do, web included. In order to do this well, we are making some changes to the way websites that were built by University Communications are maintained, which may impact your workflow. We hope that while there may be some limitations as to what our editors are able to do, there will be greater opportunity to maintain high-quality websites and ensure that industry best practices and accessibility standards are met.
Website editors are able to make content changes, which allows you to add things to existing modules and make corrections quickly.

Beyond text edits, please contact webmaster@uconn.edu and we will assign someone to assist you with any changes to photography, design, or functionality. Someone actively monitors this account, and it will be the quickest and most efficient way to have updates made to the site. We prefer not to have requests be sent to specific people in the office, to avoid having a delay because of vacation time or other project work.
