Internal Communications
Daily Digest
Three Daily Digest emails, each reaching a different internal audience, are the best place for you to share your UConn events and updates and to find out about opportunities on campus you won’t want to miss. Have something you need to share with the broader UConn community? Submit a Daily Digest announcement. Please read the “How to Submit” and “FAQ” pages for guidelines.
- Faculty/Staff Daily Digest: All UConn faculty, staff, and graduate students, as well as all UConn Foundation employees, across all campuses receive the Faculty/Staff Daily Digest email at 11 a.m. each weekday. Faculty/Staff Daily Digest announcements include the day’s UConn Today headlines, human resources reminders, and important University-wide messages, as well as faculty- and staff-submitted announcements such as events, award nominations, calls for research participants, campus fundraisers, and more.
- Student Daily Digest: All undergraduate students and bachelor of general studies students automatically receive this daily email. The student newsletter features announcements on various types of student events and activities; student job opportunities; internship, career, and study abroad opportunities; safety, health, and wellness; and academic and campus information.
- UConn Health Lifeline: All UConn Health faculty, staff, students, residents, and affiliates are automatically subscribed to UConn Health Lifeline. Lifeline includes information on events, lectures, and meetings; research and awards; parking and transportation; training and professional development; and more.
UConn Events Calendar
The UConn Events Calendar is a resource for the UConn community to view and share events taking place across the University. As the official hub for University event information, our office manages this dynamic platform to ensure the UConn community always has a current, comprehensive view of campus life. Featuring hundreds of individual calendars spanning every corner of the University, the Events Calendar allows for browsing of all UConn events at once, or diving into a specific calendar, searching by keyword, or filtering by event type, audience, campus, and tags.
UConn at Work
Employees at all UConn campuses and UConn Health receive “UConn at Work,” a monthly email newsletter. UConn at Work aims to provide valuable information on the many important decisions that impact all of us — from parking and construction updates to policy changes, human resources information, and University-wide events. If it affects UConn faculty and staff, it’ll be here. UConn at Work breaks down what you need — and want — to know to do your job and take advantage of UConn’s many opportunities.
How is the UConn at Work newsletter working for you? We welcome your feedback. Contact us at work@uconn.edu.
The Hub
The Hub intranet is tailored to members of the UConn Health community. This resource includes the latest news from Farmington, important updates and announcements, and fan-favorite “Dear Dr. Andy,” where CEO Dr. Andy Agwunobi answers employees’ questions.
